Police have released CCTV footage showing a man who had just broken into a fancy dress shop in Brighton.
Overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday, 10 and 11 November, thieves broke in to South Coast Costumes at Circus Parade in New England Road, through the front door.
They stole a bag containing £50 in coins, and a small portable safe containing about £50 cash and some paperwork.
The safe was later found abandoned on a construction site in nearby Stroudley Street. It had been broken into and the contents had gone.
The man in the CCTV is described as white, in his thirties, slim, with brown hair and long sideburns. He was wearing a blue jacket, a roll neck sweater, blue jeans, and black Adidas trainers.
