Whitehawk have been drawn at home in the first round proper of the FA Cup today (Monday 26 October).
The Hawks face one of the leading sides in the National League – formerly known as the Conference.
The Brighton side, currently third in the National League South, will play either Tranmere Rovers or Lincoln City.
Both sides are promotion contenders aiming for a return to the Football League. Tranmere are currently fifth – in the final play-off place – and Lincoln are a point behind in seventh.
On Saturday 450 fans watched Whitehawk beat Poole Town 2-0 at the Enclosed Ground in East Brighton.
Meanwhile Lincoln held Tranmere to a 0-0 draw on Merseyside with a replay scheduled for 7.45pm tomorrow (Tuesday 27 October).
The first round fixture – the first inWhitehawk’s 70-year history – is down for Saturday 7 November although this could change if the match is televised.
