Whitehawk are through to the first round of the FA Cup for the first time in their 70-year history.
Goals from Sam Deering and Danny Mills overcome Poole Town at the Enclosed Ground.
The Hawks will now be entered in the draw which is due to take place tomorrow (Monday 26 October).
They will be up against illustrious names such as past FA Cup winners Sheffield United, Coventry City and Portsmouth.
There is also the possibility of an all-Sussex tie as Crawley Town will also be in the hat.
Whitehawk are currently third in the Vanarama National League South – the equivalent of the sixth division of the Football League.
