Sussex Police have asked for the public’s help to trace a missing man from Brighton.
Martin Pepperell, 50, was reported missing from his home in Pelham Square, Brighton, yesterday.
The force said: “Officers were notified of his disappearance at 4.30pm on Thursday (8 October).
“Martin is described as white, 6ft 2in, of heavy build and has short brown hair.
“Inquiries had led to a search for Martin being concentrated in the Seaford Head area overnight, with officers being supported by coastguards and a police helicopter. “This has brought no result and inquiries are continuing.
“Martin has been depressed recently so we are naturally concerned for his welfare.
“If you have seen him or know where he is, please contact us right away.”
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to phone Sussex Police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk.
