A Brighton and Hove charity is holding a fun family day of fundraising activities tomorrow (Sunday 13 September).
The “Starr Wars Challenge” starts at 9am at the Adur Outdoor Activities Centre in Shoreham to raise money for the Starr Trust.
Teams of four are being encouraged to take part in wall climbing, archery, running and canoeing.
The trust said: “There will be a host of fantastic activities for all the family including face painting, egg and spoon and other races for kids, games, arts and crafts, lucky dip and hoopla, lots of yummy food plus a BBQ from Carat’s Café and some fabulous prizes to be won in our raffle.
“The Juice Radio bus will be there too.
“We hope that plenty of people will come along on the day to cheer the teams on. There will be lots of activities available for children to take part in and the Adur Outdoor Activities Centre will be open for the public to try out their various events.”
The Starr Trust is an independent family-run charity set up in memory of Edward Starr to support young people to fulfill their potential.
