Britain’s biggest digital festival starts today and runs for four weeks with more than 180 events lined up in Brighton and Hove.
The organisers of the Brighton Digital Festival said that it promised to be the biggest and best yet.
They added: “Over 100 of the confirmed events are free to attend offering something for everyone, from families and art lovers to makers and programming geeks.
“A collection of the country’s leading digitally focused conferences feature throughout the festival including dConstruct, The Long Progress Bar, Reasons to be Creative, Dots, Let’s Get Real and Brighton SEO.
“This year’s full programme is made up of a diverse range of events. The festival’s opening week includes new art exhibitions, celebrity presented screenings, digital meet-ups, hackathons, dance instillations, live music and much more.
“The festival reflects Brighton’s unique culture, strong community spirit and thriving digital industry, bringing together companies, professional digital workers, designers and artists.”
Festival manager Jesse Black Mooney said: “Our community’s enthusiasm and involvement in shaping the festival is what makes Brighton Digital Festival so fantastic.
