Two people have been charged after three police officers were assaulted in Portslade at the weekend.
Sussex Police said: “A man and a woman have been charged after three police officers were assaulted in Brighton on Saturday (22 August).
“It’s after police were called to a report of a fight near the train station in Portslade at around 1.25am.
“Jodie Ann Goble, 25, of Bramble Way, Brighton, was charged with assaulting a police officer, possession of a class B drug and being drunk and disorderly in a public place.
“She has been bailed to appear before magistrates on (Monday) 7 September.
“Matthew Richard Greenaway, 30, of Stapley Road, Hove, was charged with three counts of assaulting a police officer and for possession of a class A drug.
“He has been bailed to appear before magistrates on (Thursday) 24 September.”
