BrewDog has set a date for the opening of its first bar in Brighton.
The company plans to open in the old Blind Tiger Club, in Grand Parade, at end of the month.
BrewDog said that it would start trading there on Friday 28 August.
It bought the lease in May – a year after the Blind Tiger closed, blaming noise complaints.
The new Scottish owner had said last year that it would be opening a bar in Brighton, there appears to have been months of legal issues and red tape delaying the event.
BrewDog said: “After completing enough paperwork to fill the nearby Pavilion, we can announce that BrewDog Brighton will officially open its doors to the craft beer-loving people of the south coast on Friday 28 August.
“The epic bar will be pouring 30 taps of the freshest craft beer we can get our hands on, as well as leading with an amazing range of food.
“More details will follow when the doors are primed and ready to open next week.
“It’s taken some time to get over the line but, Brighton, we are coming for you.”
