Volunteers from an insurance company picked up paint brushes and tins to help out a deaf school in Brighton.
The team from Allianz Insurance gave their time for a day of decorating at Hamilton Lodge Deaf School, in Walpole Road, Kemp Town.
Ashley Moon, from Allianz, said: “We enjoyed helping last summer and were keen to get involved again. We aren’t professional decorators but we are able and willing to help with paint brush.”
The school’s business manager Simon Burgess said: “The support we receive from businesses and the local community helps us to focus our resources on the needs and wishes of our residential pupils, ensuring their childhoods are full of positive memories and helping them to become confident adults.”
Hamilton Lodge School and College for Deaf Students is a non-maintained special school for the deaf, providing both residential and non-residential places for children aged 4 to 19.
