A man has been charged with raping a teenager in Woodingdean and is due to appear in court in Brighton tomorrow (Monday 17 August).
Michael Doos, 51, unemployed, of Netherfield Green, Woodingdean, will appear before magistrates accused of raping a 19-year-old teenager just before midnight on Wednesday (12 August).
Sussex Police said: “A man will appear in court on Monday 17 August charged with the rape of a woman in Woodingdean on Wednesday last week.
“Michael Doos, 51, unemployed, of Netherfield Green, Brighton, was arrested on Saturday afternoon by detectives investigating the rape of a 19-year-old woman in Crescent Drive North just before midnight on 12 August.
“He was charged with two counts of rape and one of possession of a class B Drug (cannabis resin) and was remanded in custody to appear before Brighton magistrates on Monday morning.”
