The Portslade Aldridge Community Academy (PACA) has maintained its a-level pass rate at 97 per cent, the school said today (Thursday 13 August).
Sixteen students sat 32 A levels and a quarter achieved the benchmark A* to B grades – up from 19 per cent a year ago.
Interim principal Peter Marchant said: “I am delighted with this year’s A-level results where we have maintained our high pass rate and improved our A* to B pass rate by 6 per cent from last year.
“Also, the combined A2 and equivalent pass rate is 99 per cent, an improvement from last year. The A* to B is at 55 per cent, an impressive 26 per cent increase on last year’s results.
“I would like to congratulate the students and thank the staff for all their hard work.”
