A man has been robbed at The Level in Brighton.
Sussex Police said: “Police are searching for a group of robbers who attacked a man in a Brighton city centre open space.
“At about 2am on Friday 24 July the 27-year old man from Westgate-on-Sea, in Kent, who had been visiting Brighton with friends, was on a park bench at The Level in the city centre while looking for them.
“He was attached and robbed of his mobile bank card and about £100 cash.
“He reported the attack to police on the following day, after returning home and receiving hospital treatment for a hair line fracture to an eye socket and bruising.
“One of the robbers is described as a woman, white, about 5ft 4in, of medium build, with shoulder-length blonde hair, wearing a dark tracksuit.
“A second suspect is described as a white man, 18 to 20 years, about 5ft 9in, wearing a blue tracksuit.”
Detective Constable Leon Ryan said: “If you saw this incident, or saw any other suspicious activity around The Level early that morning, please contact us.”
