A-level results at Blatch6 are their best ever this year and 47 per cent of students gained A*-B grades.
This was an increase of seven per cent in A*-B grades compared with last year and the overall pass rate of A to E grades was 99.4 per cent.
Headteacher Janet Felkin praised students and staff: “We are absolutely delighted with the improvements in results across the board.
“The students’ sheer hard work and commitment have provided them with the success they truly deserve.
“Grateful thanks also to the staff who’ve consistently instilled a sense of achievement and ambition into our students’ endeavours enabling them to reach their aspirations.
Well done all.”
Jonathan Derrick, Bethan Heard and Omaya Alaedine achieved at least two As at A-level.
Charlie Harrington and Aisha Ahmad obtained at least two distinctions including one distinction*.
In September Charlie will study music at the University of Sussex.
Results from the Creative Arts School were once again strong including 100 per cent of students gaining grades A*-B in Music and Stage Management.
Dance and Product Design students all achieved grades A*-C.
All students studying Business, Computing or Travel & Tourism achieved A*-C grades in the Blatch6 Business School.
Year 12 results were also strong for students in their first year of sixth form.
Staff would particularly like to congratulate Lucia Cordelli, Anna Pontalti and Isabella Saccuman for achieving A grades in their end of year exams.
