Brighton and Hove Albion 0 Nottingham Forest 0
Albion have had the lion’s share of the play against Forest at the Amex this evening (Friday 7 August).
The visitors did, though, have the first real chance of the new season with Henri Lansbury hitting the post and David Stockdale beaten.
Not long after Beram Kayal hit the post for Albion and then good work from Kazenga LuaLua saw him slide the ball to Sam Baldock, who skewed his shot wide.
Right on half time Tomer Hemed, inside the six-yard box, brought a superb save from Forest keeper Dorus de Vries, who tipped away the near point-blank header.
