Albion ladies start their season on Sunday 16 August at home at the Lancing training complex to Forest Green Rovers.
Brighton and Hove News caught up with boss James Marrs.
Marrs explained that after the disappoinment of just missing out on promotion last season, the aim of the Seagulls was get to the Women’s Super League as soon as possible .
This is the professional competition that started four years ago, replacing the old Premier League.
Many of Albion’s squad have followed Marrs over from Gillingham
Albion have also made some new additions to the squad including Kate Natkiel Charlotte Sole, Kim Stenning and Charlotte Young .
Sole, a goal keeper has previously played for Albion making her first appearance at the age of 14.
Fans can attend first team matches for a small admission charge of £3 per adult and £1 for under 16s.
Albion are currently semi-professional but as Marrs pointed out: “We want to match what the men do but in order for us to do that we have to get to the top level ”
Albion Women kick-off Sundays at 2pm.
