Aberdeen 1 Brighton & Hove Albion 0
Brighton and Hove Albion lost at Pittodrie on this afternoon (Sunday 26 July) to an Adam Rooney goal on 75 minutes.
Irishman Rooney has tormented Albion before. Back in 2006 he scored twice as Stoke thrashed the Seagulls 5-1 at Withdean in the final game of the season.
Aberdeen keeper Jamie Langfield, whose testimonial match it was, made great saves from Kazenga LuaLua and Danny Holla.
Lewis Dunk, the subject of various multimillion-pound bids, played a full 90 minutes for the Seagulls. He also drew a good save from Langfield.
Albion take on Europa League champions Sevilla at the Amex next Sunday (2 August) at 4pm.
