A car has ended up on its roof in a crash on the A27 Brighton bypass this evening (Tuesday 21 July).
The accident happened on the westbound side of the road between 7pm and 8pm.
The Highways Agency said that three lanes were closed between the A23 turn-off at Patcham and the turn-off for the Devil’s Dyke, and the A2038 King George VI Avenue, known locally as Snakey Hill.
There were no details available about whether the driver or anyone else was injured in the crash.
The Highways Agency said: “On the A27 westbound between the junctions with the A23 and the A2038 there are currently delays of 10 minutes due to an overturned vehicle closing three lanes.
“Normal traffic conditions expected from 9pm.”
