The event is one of the monthly business breakfasts organised by the Brighton and Hove Chamber of Commerce.
It is taking place at Carluccio’s, in Jubilee Street, Brighton, from 7.45am to 9.30am on Friday 14 August, with tickets costing £18 for members and non-members.
The Chamber said: “Our August breakfast speaker Julian Caddy is MD of the Brighton Fringe Festival, England’s largest annual arts festival.
“A trained actor, director and drama teacher, Julian is a man whose life has been steeped in the arts.
“As well as being a festival director, he’s a venue producer and artistic director and has worked everywhere from Adelaide to Edinburgh.
“Since joining Brighton Fringe nearly four years ago, the festival has enjoyed a 90 per cent increase in ticket sales, with overall attendances up 115 per cent.
“Perhaps most importantly of all to Brightonians, he oversaw the return of the Spiegeltent to the Brighton Fringe in 2013.
“Julian will talk about how he’s made it all happen and what the future will be for the Fringe.”
