UPDATE: Reece has been found.
An autistic boy with a fascination for buses and trains which has led him miles from home before has disappeared from a school fair in Woodingdean.
Police say they are concerned for the safety and welfare of Reece Patemen, 14, who went missing from the Downs View school fair in Wilson Avenue on Saturday. He was last seen at 1.45pm.
PC Rebecca King said: “Reece has previously been found at railway stations in Sussex and as far afield as London and we are making enquiries with bus and rail companies and British Transport Police as part of our search. We are concerned for him because he is autistic and his age.”
Reece is described as 5ft 3in, of large build, with ginger hair, blue eyes, a fair complexion and was wearing a red hooded top, turquoise checked shirt, navy blue combat trousers and navy blue trainers.
Anyone who has seen Reece or knows where he may have gone is asked to contact police via 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 1029 of 11/07 or if it is an emergency call 999.
Hope they find him very soon. Praying for the family.
