Four more drivers have been charged with drink-driving by Brighton police as part of the force’s summer crackdown.
Mark Griffin, 27, was arrested at 1.55am on 17 June in Wilson Avenue, Brighton, after he was reported to be speeding.
Griffin, of Robin Davis Close, Brighton, was charged with drink-driving and released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 1 July.
Lee Dawson, 27, was arrested at 11.45pm on 17 June after he was involved in a crash in New England Road, Brighton.
Dawson, of Hearsay Gardens, Camberley, Surrey, was charged with drink-driving and released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 2 July.
William Seed, 68, was arrested at 3.45pm on 19 June after he parked over a junction in Edward Street, Brighton.
Seed, of Whitehawk Road, Brighton, was charged with drink-driving and released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 6 July.
John Melsa, 65, was arrested at 8.25pm on 19 June after officers stopped his car in Springfield Road, Brighton.
Melsa, of Bannings Vale, Saltdean, was charged with drink-driving and released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 6 July.
