Firefighters put out a blaze at a property in Brighton.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said that they spent nearly an hour dealing with the incident on Wednesday lunchtime (17 June).
The fire service said: “Two fire engines from Preston Circus and Roedean attended the address on St Helen’s Road at 12.17pm.
“On arrival they found a fire in the ground floor of the property.
“Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
“The cause of the fire was found to be accidental.
“Crews completed a home safety visit with the occupant before leaving the scene at 1.05pm.
