It was two top cops with the authors in the library – or rather it will be.
For anyone who ever wondered how crime writers manage to pen authentic scenes and stay on top of police slang and procedures, the answer is coming at the Jubilee Library in Brighton.
The former police commander in Brighton and Hove, Chief Superintendent Graham Bartlett, and former Inspector Andy Kille have helped writers such as Peter James.
They will be joined at a free event at the library by three crime writers – William Shaw, Susan Wilkins and PD Viner.
The event is taking place at 5.30pm on Thursday 11 June and is described as “not for the fainthearted”. Booking is not required for the free event.
