A second man has been charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to murder following a shooting in Brighton in January.
Hayden George Pendleton, 29, of Damwood Road, Liverpool, is accused of attempting to murder a 39-year-old man and conspiracy to murder a 24-year-old man in Elmore Road.
Pendleton was remanded in custody to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court today.
A group of men went to a house in Elmore Road on 27 January and fired a single shot through the front door. A 39-year-old man inside the home was hit but did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
Adam Willis, 33, of no fixed address, has already been charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to murder. He is due to appear at Lewes Crown Court on 26 June.
A reward of £5,000 has been offered by Sussex Police for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. The independent charity Crimestoppers has also offered £5,000 on the same terms.
