A Kemp Town bakery is to ditch the sausage rolls in favour of vegetarian and vegan fare.
Gregory’s, in the unit formerly occupied by Threshers at the bottom of St James’s Street, has applied for permission to sell hot takeaway food.
And it says it intends to serve only organic, natural food at affordable prices.
New manager Tim Barclay says if it’s successful, the changes are likely to be implemented in the coming weeks.
He said: “Me and my partner are both vegan – we don’t feel the market is quite ready for veganism yet, so we are going to be selling vegetarian food.
