A man from Brighton has been charged with drug driving after police found him in a badly parked car at 5am one morning just before Christmas.
Sussex Police said: “A 29-year-old man has become the latest to be charged with an offence as part of Sussex Police’s Christmas crackdown on drink and drug driving.
“Neil El-Komboz was arrested at 5am on (Monday) 22 December after officers found him in a car that was parked across two bays in a car park at Brighton Marina.
“El-Komboz, of Ditchling Rise, Brighton, has now been charged with drug driving.
“He was released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on (Tuesday) 5 May.
“A total of 134 people have so far been charged with offences as part of the December Operation Dragonfly campaign.”
The force added: “People in Sussex can text officers on 65999 with the details of people they suspect of drink or drug driving or visit www.operationcrackdown.co.uk.
