A Hove schoolboy was knocked over by a car on his way home from Cardinal Newman this afternoon (Monday 13 April).
The 11-year-old Year 7 pupil was hit at the corner of Montefiore Road and Lyndhurst Road, Hove.
He was taken to hospital in Brighton by South East Coast Ambulance Service although he was not believed to have been badly hurt.
Sussex Police said: “We were called shortly after 3pm today (Monday 13 April) after an 11-year-old boy was hit by a car in Montefiore Road, Hove.
“The boy was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.”

I live near coming up road had go out into road as cars parked both sides, cross over, dangerous
junction, then saw ambulance police cars people young boys school, one laying road. Cars must slow down.
