Two teenage boys have been charged with criminal damage after a platform shelter was smashed at Aldrington Station last month.
British Transport Police arrested the 16-year-old from Hove and 17-year-old from Croydon last week following an appeal for information about the vandalism on 28 February.
Both were interviewed and subsequently charged with criminal damage. They have been released on bail to appear at Brighton and Hove Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 21 April.
PC Billy Burstow said: “I would like to thank the members of the public who came forward with information. I would also like to thank local media for publicising this appeal.”
“Hi Dad – I’m in *JAIL*!!” etc etc
