Four teenagers have been arrested after a 27-year-old man was robbed on Brighton seafront at the weekend.
The victim suffered head injuries in the robbery and needed treatment at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Kemp Town. He has since been discharged.
The Brighton man was attacked in Madeira Drive shortly before 6am on Sunday (29 March). His attackers stole his wallet, watch and cash.
Sussex Police officers searched the area and arrested a 17-year-old, two 16-year-olds and a 15-year-old, all from south London, in East Street and West Street.
The watch was also recovered.
The four, who were arrested on suspicion of robbery, were interviewed and released on police bail until Sunday 24 May while inquiries continue.
Detective Sergeant Cheryl Lewendon said: “If you were in the area early on Sunday morning and saw anything of what happened, please contact us.”
