Brighton & Hove Albion under-21 defender Tom Dallison has joined Conference side Dartford on an initial one-month loan deal.
The centre-back, who joined Albion from Arsenal in October 2013, will go straight into the squad for Dartford’s relegation six-pointer against Telford tomorrow afternoon.
Academy manager John Morling said, “It is a good level; a step up from what he is playing at currently and he has been doing really well for the under-21s lately.
“It is a good opportunity for him and I believe it is a good move for Tom, Dartford and Albion.
“His spell away from the club then opens up a gap in the under-21s so it provides an under-18 player the chance to step up, then and under-16 player a chance to move to the 18s and so forth, so it has a positive knock-on effect.”
Dallison joins the Darts lying 22nd in the Conference table, seven points from safety.
Imagine there’s no football
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today…
Imagine there’s no football
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no football too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace…
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no football
I wonder if you can
No need for football
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world…
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one
