A Brighton man has been charged with rape.
Sussex Police said: “Graham Francis, 41, a sales assistant, of North Road, Brighton, appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Friday 16 January, charged with rape and with assault by penetration, both of a 29-year old woman at an address in Brighton in 2013.
“The case was committed for a preliminary hearing at Lewes Crown Court on (Thursday) 5 February.”
Francis has been bailed until his next court appearance.
