A 48-year-old man has been charged with drink driving after he crashed in Brighton street.
Hamilton Smith was arrested at lunchtime on Thursday (11 December) after he hit a parked vehicle in Circus Street, Brighton.
Smith, of no fixed address, was charged with drink driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.
Sussex Police said that he was released on bail to appear before Brighton magistrates on Thursday 8 January.
The force said that anyone who knew someone was driving while over the limit or after taking drugs should call 999.
Sussex Police has joined forces with Surrey Police and the Sussex Safer Roads Partnership for its annual month-long crackdown on drink and drug driving.
