Labour Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls is due to serve the drinks when he meets customers at a coffee shop in Hove this afternoon (Thursday 11 December).
Mr Balls is also scheduled to meet entrepreneurs and people working in local businesses alongside the Labour candidate for Hove, Peter Kyle.
The meetings are due to take place at the independent Small Batch Coffee Company, in Goldstone Villas, Hove, where Mr Balls will be welcomed behind the counter by the shop’s baristas.
The Labour frontbencher hopes to hear how small businesses are faring and what help they need.
Peter Kyle said: “We live in the most entrepreneurial city in the UK but that success is despite government, not because of it.
“I want to make this the best city in the country to do business, to hire local people, and thrive in the 21st century economy.”
