A teenage drug dealer from Hove has been sentenced by magistrates after he admitted supplying cannabis.
Jack Collins, 18, of Sherborne Way, Hangleton, also admitted having cocaine and amphetamines when he appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court last Friday (28 November).
Collins was caught supplying 80 grams of cannabis on Friday 8 August. All the drugs were ordered to be destroyed.
He was sentenced to a 12-month community order which included 60 hours of unpaid work.
The teenager also admitted taking a black Seat Ibiza without the owner’s consent and driving it in Fonthill Road, Hove, without a licence or insurance.
He was fined a total of £333, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge, making £478 in total. He was also given six penalty points for driving without insurance.
