Norwich City 3 Brighton & Hove Albion 3
The Albion came close to an away win at Carrow Road this afternoon (Saturday 22 November).
Bruno Saltor, back from injury, put the Seagulls in front after 33 minutes only for the Canaries’ Johnny Howson to equalise five minutes later.
Four minutes after the restart Brightonian Russell Martin scored a 30-yard screamer against his hometown club to put Norwich in front.
With 25 minutes to go Kazenga LuaLua fired Albion level. Then ten minutes later, after being brought down by Jos Hoovield in the penalty area, Adrian Colunga stepped up to put Albion back in front from the spot.
But in a scenario indicative of Albion’s current luck and form, Gary Hooper equalised with four minutes remaining.
The Seagulls, who host Fulham next Saturday (29 November), stay 20th and outside the relegation places by virtue of having a superior goal difference to Rotherham and Bolton.
