Campaign group Our Brighton Hippodrome has called a public meeting for supporters at 11.30am today (Saturday 25 October).
The group plans to set out its options at the meeting in the Greene Room, upstairs at the Cricketers pub in Black Lion Street, Brighton.
Jo Jameson, who is to chair the meeting, said: “The aim is to convey as much information as possible to as many people as possible.”
She said that the group hoped to clarify the situation on what has happened so far including the vast amount of work carried out by Our Brighton Hippodrome and David Fisher in particular.
And she hoped that it would dispel a lot of myths while providing an update on the position of Brighton and Hove City Council and the government.
She also hoped that it would bring the community together to work towards the ultimate goal of buying the Hippodrome, car park and Hippodrome House.
The current owner Kuig Property Investments has planning permission to convert the derelict listed building into an eight-screen cinema and restaurant complex.
