A 37-year-old mother of two who was seriously injured in a car crash on the edge of Brighton earlier this month has died in hospital.
The accident happened in Saddlescombe Road, near Poynings and the Devil’s Dyke, on Saturday 4 October.
The woman, Sam Cove, who worked at a dental surgery in Henfield, died at St George’s Hospital, in Tooting, south London, on Tuesday (21 October).
Sussex Police said; “She was the driver of a red Toyota Yaris which was in collision with a green Jaguar XF at about 3.20pm.
“She has been named as Samantha Cove, of Brook House Flat, High Street, Henfield.
“The Jaguar was driven by a 52-year-old man from Milton Keynes, who was accompanied by his wife, 50, and son, 24.
“His wife suffered chest injuries and he and his son slight injuries. All were treated at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
“The coroner has been informed.”
