Martial arts equipment was found dumped after being stolen from a car in Brighton.
Police today launched an appeal for information after the black VW Passat was broken into in Ewhurst Road, at about midnight on Friday, 10 October.
As well as the martial arts equipment, which was dumped in Bear Road, the thief also took a black metal cash tin, £80 in coins and various blue martial arts certificates.
The martial arts equipment was later found in Bear Road.
The suspected thief is white, 16 to 18 and about 5ft 6in. He had blonde hair, was clean shaven and was wearing a black hooded Adidas top with white stripes on the arms and a black Puffa-style body warmer.
PC James Breeds said: “I would like to speak to anyone who saw the car being interfered with or anyone who saw a young man fitting the description of the thief who was acting suspiciously in or around Ewhurst Road on Friday.
“If you recognise the description of the thief or know who is responsible, please contact us.”
