The piano was donated to the station by Brighton Piano Warehouse at the instigation of Labour’s Hove parliamentary candidate Peter Kyle.
Brighton Pianos is replacing the stool, but is also appealing for the safe return of the original.
The piano has been at the station since July. In August, it was moved after gate staff complained they couldn’t hear customers because of the noise.
