A car was destroyed after being stolen and set on fire in Brighton last week, Sussex Police said today (Wednesday 1 October).
The grey MG ZT+ was taken from outside a home in South Woodlands, just off London Road, Patcham, at some time after 10pm on Tuesday 23 September.
Shortly before 1am on Wednesday 24 September it was found on fire at The Level.
No one was hurt but the car was destroyed by the fire.
Sussex Police today issued an appeal for witnesses.
PC James Breeds said: “I am trying to find anyone who saw the car being stolen from South Woodlands or who saw it being driven in the city before it was dumped and set alight.
“If you saw the vehicle being set on fire or you know who is responsible, please contact us.”
