A video of dancers doing the Charleston in some well-loved Brighton locations is doing the rounds.
To be honest, we’re not entirely sure what it’s in aid for, but it seems to be proving popular so here it is:
Update: It seems the video is part of a global project called I Charleston which celebrates the dance by filming it being performed around the world.
The film, the work of Elena Collins and Fiona Ring, took six months to film and was launched on the 5 September at a private screening attended by Mayor of Brighton and Hove Brian Fitch.
More than 80 dancers aged from five to 80 performed in 40 locations. Elena explained: ‘’We really wanted to capture the diverse and individual spirit of Brighton so we were delighted that so many dance and performance groups volunteered their time to be a part of the project. Thanks to them, we managed to capture the creative vibe of our city.’’
If this don’t make you smile .. well I don’t know what will….
I would hardly call 20k views a hit…
