The number of people charged with offences as part of the month-long Operation Dragonfly campaign in June has now risen to 116, Sussex Police said.
The latest drivers to have been charged include Greg Thirtle, 50, of Merevale, in Hollingdean.
Thirtle was arrested at 3pm on Thursday 19 June in Hollingbury Place, round the corner from his home after his vehicle was seen almost hitting the central reservation, police said.
He has now been charged with driving while unfit through drugs and has been released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 11 September.
Louise Flind, 48, was arrested shortly before 11pm on Friday 20 June after officers saw her driving erratically on the A26 at Beddingham with her hazard lights on. She was questioned before being released on bail.
Flind, of Duck Barn, Telscombe, has now been charged with drink driving. She was released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 21 October, Sussex Police said.
