A large blaze has broken out at a Brighton garage.
At the height of the blaze, six fire engines were at the Madeira garage in May Road, at the top of Elm Grove.
By 7.30pm, this was scaled down to three.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue said: “We were called at 16.04 today (27 August 2014) to reports of a fire at a garage on May Road in Hove, Brighton.
“Six fire appliances are at the scene.
“Crews from Preston Circus, Hove, Roedean and Barcombe are in attendance.
“The Control Unit from Bexhill is also at the scene as are Sussex Police.
“There are no reports of injuries at this stage.”
UK Power Networks were also at the scene this evening.
The garage, at the end of May Road, advertises car and motorbike services and repairs.
Why didn’t some of the Fire Engines park in Tenantry Down Rd instead of behind each other in May Rd?

Wow! Units from Hastings and Barcombe are required to come Brighton, the fire service must be stressed.
Hope the guy is on the mend.
