A dog walker was injured in an unprovoked attack as he walked through Peace Park in Kemp Town.
Police today appealed for witnesses to the assault, which happened in the park off Dorset Gardens at 10.30pm on Monday, 11 August.
The 47-year-old victim was taken to hospital for a bad cut on his head.
There is believed to be one suspect who is described as a white man, aged in his 30s, 6ft and of slim build with brown hair in a ponytail. He was wearing a dark coloured hooded top with dark jeans and trainers.
