Police are growing more concerned for a woman from Brighton who they think may have gone on a trip to her former haunts yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 12 August).
Margaret Humphrey, 69, of Victoria Place, has Alzheimer’s and left her home around 4pm and has not been seen since.
She is described as 5ft tall, with a small build and collar-length brown hair.
PC Dave Walker said: “Margaret talked about places where she used to live in the hours before she left her home, including London and Steyning.
“We are concerned for her as she has dementia and has now been missing for almost 24 hours. We are appealing to anyone who might have seen her in the Brighton area or travelling on public transport to please get in touch.
“Please contact us on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 1681 of 12/8.”
