A motorcyclist from Brighton suffered several broken bones when he crashed on the A27 at the Shoreham flyover at the weekend.
Sussex Police said that the man was on the cloverleaf where he was heading towards the eastbound section of the main road when the accident happened.
The force said that he lost control and came off his black Suzuki bike on a bend in the slip road and crashed into the central reservation barrier.
His bike ended up on the opposite side of the road where it caught fire.
The rider was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with multiple fractures.
Sussex Police asked anyone who saw the crash, which happened just before 5.45pm on Saturday (9 August) to contact the force by emailing collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk.
