Fly-tippers beware – if you dump rubbish around London Road, you may be caught in the act by a Brighton councillor armed with an iPad and a loud voice.
Geoffrey Bowden, who represents Queen’s Park ward for the Green Party, tweeted a photo of this man after he and a friend dumped furniture by communal bins off Pelham Street next to the London Road car park.

Mr Bowden said: “I stumbled on the pair pushing an armchair and carrying a desk as I drove by.
“I jumped out with my iPad to take pictures ,and a loud challenging voice.”
