The Seagulls lost the final game of their Spanish pre-season mini tour, to Spanish Segunda League outfit, Real Betis.
Craig Mackail-Smith converted Jake Forster-Caskey’s pinpoint cross to put Albion in front early on.
Betis levelled through Ruben Castro right on half time then Casado added a second for Betis just after half time .
Sergio Rodriguez made sure of the Spanish side’s win with a third goal ten minutes from the end.
Rohan Ince rattled the post late on which was Albion’s best chance of the second half .
Leo Ulloa was again conspicuous by his absence, with speculation mounting that a move to Leicester City may yet materialise. The Foxes seem prepared to break their own transfer record to land the man from Argentina.
