A 30-year-old man from Hove has been fined for having 26 bags of cocaine.
Bujar Gjoca, of Shirley Drive, Hove, pleaded guilty to having 17.7 grams of cocaine when he appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court last week.
He was caught with the class A drug in Shelley Road, Hove, in December last year by officers from Sussex Police.
Gloca was fined £480 for having the drug and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £48. He was also ordered to pay £85 towards the prosecution costs.
The case was heard by the Brighton bench last Thursday (3 July).
