A man from Brighton has been charged with drink driving on Hove seafront at the weekend and ordered to appear before magistrates.
Joseph Green, 24, was arrested at 12.45am on Saturday (28 June) after officers stopped his car on the A259 Kingsway in Hove.
Green, of Bristol Road in Kemp Town, was charged with drink driving and released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 14 August.
Sussex Police said that Green was one of 91 people to have been charged this month as part of Operation Dragonfly, the force’s month-long crackdown on drink and drug driving.
