Brighton and Hove Albion have signed the Swiss-Congolese midfielder Nzuzi Toko. He is due to join the club from Grasshoppers of Zurich on Tuesday 1 July.
The player was at the Amex in Falmer today (Tuesday 20 May) to complete a medical.
Toko has made more than 140 appearances for Grasshoppers. He is expected to be the ball-winning midfield power-house that the Seagulls have missed since Andrew Crofts suffered a season-ending injury late last year.
Tomorrow is the 31st anniversary of Albion’s FA Cup Final appearance.
